Pain: a blessing in disguise
It’s not always bad…
Pain is a word that, when uttered, causes a fluttering in the stomach, is something nobody wants to experience. Everybody yet experiences it. You are born with pain, and you die in pain.
It is something constant throughout the life of a living being. Pain is considered a curse, a punishment, an abomination that should not be a part of our life. But never anyone considers it a blessing. There is a reason for pain like every other thing. It is something necessary for human survival, a blessing in disguise.
Malfunctioning alarm:
Pain is a communicator of your body; it is the checker of body function. An alarm raises whenever there is something wrong with some part. Have you ever imagined if there was no pain? What would be the consequences? Most of us would immediately think: ‘how wonderful would it have been!’. But stop. If there were no alarms to give an alert for malfunctioning, you would never know about fault until the whole system collapsed. The same is the case with a living body, if you don’t feel pain, you would never get a clue of any internal injury, and you will die in ignorance. You would rub your eyes till your cornea is damaged without realization, your appendicitis can burst, and you will die because there will be no pain to signal danger. You may get a…
